Enfoque #24 - Lee la historia y responde a las preguntas: 

 El novio de Nancy

Hay una chica que se llama Nancy.  Ella tiene un novio. Nancy está contenta porque tiene un novio. A Nancy le gusta mucho su (her) novio.  Un día, Nancy está en la escuela y un chico diferente habla(speaks) con ella.  El chico es muy guapo (good looking) y él está contento porque habla con Nancy. ¡De repente, hay un problema! El novio de Nancy va a la escuela y mira a Nancy con el otro chico.  Nancy mira a su (her) novio.  El novio mira a Nancy.  El novio está enojado.  La cara (face) del novio está roja y sus ojos están muy grandes.  El novio de Nancy camina rápidamente a Nancy.  Nancy quiere hablar con su novio, pero él está muy enojado y no escucha a Nancy. Él dice «¿Por qué tú miras  y hablas con otro chico? ¡Tú eres Mi novia! ¡Tú no eres su (his) novia!» A Nancy no le gusta la reacción del  novio. Nancy no quiere un novio bruto. Ella prefiere amigos y amigas. Entonces, Nancy dice  «¡Él es mi hermano! ¡Tú eres estúpido! Ahora (now), no quiero ser tu novia.» Nancy va a hablar con su (her) hermano y sus (her) amigas. Ahora (now), Nancy está contenta. 

1. At the beginning, why is Nancy feeling happy?
2. How is Nancy’s boyfriend feeling? How do you know?
3. Why does Nancy start feeling irritated?
4. Translate the BOLD in the story to English (What Nancy’s boyfriend says to her)
5. Translate the italics AND underlined in the story to English (What Nancy says to her boyfriend)
6. Why is Nancy feeling happy at the end?
