El bautismo de mi sobrino Cameron
Hoy fuimos al bautismo de mi sobrino Cameron. Cameron cumplió 8 años y decidió bautizarse en la iglesia. Salimos muy temprano porque su bautismo estaba en Vista (cerca de San Diego). Mi hermana me dió la dirreción equivocada pero alguien nos ayudó a encontrar la iglesia. Yo di un discurso sobre el bautismo y hablé del bautismo de Jesucristo y porque nos bautizamos nosotros (para seguir su ejemplo). Cameron estaba muy feliz y disfrutamos el día especial con él.Sammy y sus primos
(ó á í ú é ñ )Una excursión a Mt Lowe
El papá de mi esposo está muy interesado en Mt Lowe y en Thaddeus S. C. Lowe (y recibio su nombre de él) Thaddeus Lowe era un cientista, piloto de la guerra civil, y un inventor. Se mudó a Pasadena, CA y construyó una carreterra (Mt Lowe Railway
) por los cerros de Altadena y construyó un hotel arriba en las montañas. No está allí ahora (fue destruido por fuego) pero están tratando de preservarlo.Es una costumbre familiar hacer una excursión allá y comer encima de la montana. Fuimos con la famila de mi esposo. Hacía fresco pero era un día perfecto. Nos divertimos mucho y disfrutamos el tiempo con nuestra familia.
