1. Enfoque # 6 -  Act 7 pg. 38
2. Ser Activity –Work with a partner (or by themselves; a third person is okay if there are odd #s), have them cut the three different colored slips into small boxes. Make 11 sentences with them. Each sentence will have one of each colored card. Glue them onto a piece of notebook paper with their names on top. 
3. Flash Cards -Work (quietly) on flash cards for 10-15 mins. If they don’t have supplies they can use some of the flash cards on my desk. They can cut them small (like 3 or 4 cards per piece) to get more words per card. They should use page 51 and they need to do all of the words.

Weekly Spanish Scavenger Hunt/Word Search
Your goal is to find and document some of the Spanish that is all around us on packaging, on signs, in stores/restaurants and more. Your job is to find something with Spanish words on it. You may either take a picture of it (if you see it while you’re at the store or at a restaurant etc) and print it out or cut a piece off of packaging, or out of a magazine/newspaper/etc. Then you need to paste it in your composition book and do the following activities:
1) Write down 5 new words and define them:
2) Write a sentence using one of the new words:
3) Do you see any cognates? If so, list them:

4) Any differences in what the Spanish says versus the English?
