2. Ser Activity –Work with a partner (or by themselves; a third person is okay if there are odd #s), have them cut the three different colored slips into small boxes. Make 11 sentences with them. Each sentence will have one of each colored card. Glue them onto a piece of notebook paper with their names on top.
3. Flash Cards -Work (quietly) on flash cards for 10-15 mins. If they don’t have supplies they can use some of the flash cards on my desk. They can cut them small (like 3 or 4 cards per piece) to get more words per card. They should use page 51 and they need to do all of the words.

1. I don’t have the necessary money for the tickets.
2. We need to walk through the park in order to get to the baseball field.
3. It’s bad that the theater is closed in the morning.
4. It’s preferable that we go to the theater.
